More Than Conquerors Return

Across The Line

Ten years after bursting on to the scene in 2009, the much loved rock band More Than Conquerors will be returning for one night at the Limelight 1 on Thursday, 19th of December.

The last time all four members graced the stage was nearly four years ago in October 2015 at the Mandela Hall. The same year they headed off the SXSW...it was a mark for future success and the first step into pure indie heaven. But then to the pure devastation of their fans, they called it quits. They felt More Than Conquerors had reached its peak and it was time to move on.

Since then Danny Ball and Kris Platt have gone on to form the uplifting and energetic, electronic pop act Blue Americans, and Jamie Neish has continued to perform his own brand of thoughtful indie rock, notably supporting Leah McFall in 2017.

They also dropped a surprise unreleased demo in October 2016, an absolute banger called ‘Coco’ that didn’t make it on to their fantastic second album ‘They’ll Make Art from the Things That I’ve Seen’. Let’s hope this gig is the first of many and that they come back to conquer NI once again!
