The 1975 have been announced as the headline act for Bushmills Live 2014. The event returns to the Old Bushmills Distillery on the 11th and 12th of June. 700 tickets will be released for the event for the two days, but they're only available via a draw on their facebook.

Palma Violets will play Voodoo, Belfast on Monday April 7th as part of an Irish tour announced today. Other dates on the tour include:

6th April - Dolan's, Limerick

7th April - Voodoo, Belfast

8th April - Workman's Club, Dublin

9th April - Roisin Dubh, Galway

11th April - Cypress Avenue, Cork

Meanwhile, the "Neo Psych,Shoegaze, Dream Pop" night called Salvationwill host its first gig at the Menagerie, Belfast on Friday the 2nd of May. The Altered Hourswill headline, with a Documenta DJ set and residents Johnny and Darren.

The Voiceless Tourstops by the Atlantic Live Lounge, portrush on Saturday the 29th of March. Deadlights, Black Sonnet, Rocket Propelled Gorillas and The Big Grizzly will all play the charity event.

Pub Zero is a gig from 13-18 year olds taking place at St Columbs Hall, Derry-Londonderry on Sunday the 16th of March from 7:30pm-11pm. The Clameens, The Plantin, Riot Upstairs, Luke Mac and many more will play the event.
