Shammen Delly - Summer is Icumen in

They say: "This track feels like a day dream, a blast of nostalgic summers growing up in the countryside, with the smell of corn fields haunting your senses. The name 'Sumer Is Icumen In' is derived from a piece of music made in Medieval England, the title is in the Middle English dialect. You can hear a rendition of the song on 'The Wicker Man', which is a film we both admire.

We say: Something in the water down Donegal way? Attempting to out-lush their county comrades Slowplacelikehome - Buncranna duo Shammen Delly have made one of the dreamiest tracks we've played on the show this year.

This track will be featured on 'Touched 2', a compilation of over 200 electronic artists to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research. The release for Touched 2 will be November 28th.
