The Oh Yeah Music Centre have announced that they will be teaming up with London-based urban radio station Capital XTRA on a new project called MUSIC POTENTIAL.
Taking part throughout the coming months, it is a training course for young adults who want to work in the music industry to hone their skills. It will start off with a one-day bootcamp on 30th January, in The Oh Yeah Music Centre, which will give an overview of different music industry disciplines.
Also at Oh Yeah will be a fortnight long accredited course, from 19th February – 2nd March. This will be followed by a Belfast showcase and finally a national industry showcase in May, held in Koko, London.
The project is fully funded and aimed specifically at people aged 18-25, not in full-time education or employment.
If any budding artists, producers, journalists or promoters are interested, they can find out more information and register for the bootcamp on the Music Potential website.
