Heliopause – O Sister
Chris: I’ve always liked Heliopause…this is off a recent E.P Called Eden…Gorgeous vocals, very lush, beautiful stuff.
Rigsy: Great band and that track is accompanied with O Brother, yeah we’re big fans.
Those Ghosts – All Is Even
Rigsy: For a band so young they seem to have a decent following… Definitely one for the ‘to watch…’ list for 2014.
UNKNWN – I Cry Feat., Gemma Dunleavy
Chris: …anonymous artist who wants his identity to remain anonymous for the time being at least. He makes atmospheric, dark, murky electronic music often compared to Burial…
Milan Jay – How Well Do You Remember
Chris: I’m hearing a lot of Kasabian and Primal Scream off that…they do it with a lot of verve and vigour.
Rigsy: ..I love it, Milan Jay on Across the Line, it was fun to play that.
Schmutz – Club Salon
Chris: Really accomplished DJs…Just recently started making tunes themselves and as you can hear from that track, it’s called Club Salon, they’re pretty good at it.
Aodhan O’Reilly – Unicorn
Chris: Based in New York, I find this really, really fascinating stuff. It kind of has certain other things in various different genres…esoteric LA beat scene stuff..it’s really inventive stuff, really atmospheric.
Loris – I’ve Been Quiet
Rigsy: It is so new, the video - and it is a really slick video - only appeared on line a few days ago, new Belfast 3 piece…It’s fun, it’s party-esque
Chris: There’s definitely something there…there’s potential definitely.
