We're going ‘LA LA’ for ALICE LA at ATL Introducing.

This week’s Best Song in the World had us from the word go. ALICE LA transports us back to a time where mom jeans were all the rage, Walkman’s were popular and crimped hair and rollerblades were in full force. It could only be the ‘The 90’s’.

This synth pop banger has an immediate feel good vibe, it’s full of hooks and has a driving bass section. As always LA’s voice is a stand out but on this track we get to hear a more playful and softer side we haven’t heard from her before; what a popstar!

LA said ‘I really wanted to release a fun song after the year we’ve all had...The concept behind the track is me travelling back in time to the 90’s to meet my partner, wondering if we’d still like each other being the same age in the 90’s.’ I love the concept behind the track, it’s fun, freeing and a little bit cute - and we love a cute concept here at ATL.

This is the Banbridge native‘s first release since March 2021 and follows on from her debut album ‘Sleeps Not Real’ which saw her creating anthemic dance floor fillers which had me dancing and singing 'LA LA LA' in my room for months! This theme continues in the new record, ‘The 90’s’, yet bringing a more carefree and poppier feel. She really doesn’t hold back on the record, as she immediately takes us to the land of ‘LA’ from the first beat.

If you want a feel good tune to brighten your week, then this is the one for you. A stamped and approved ATL Best Song in the World.
