Disco legends Chic will play Derry-Londonderry this summer.
Producer/guitarist Nile Rodgers will bring his funk ensemble to the Maiden City on July 28th.
The concert will take place at the Venue, Ebrington complex, and no support as yet has been announced.
Chic were responsible for some of the greatest hits of the disco era with hits such as 'Le Freak' and 'Good Times'.
Recent shows in Ireland have become legendary, especially gigs at Electric Picnic and Mandela Hall, Belfast.
As songwriters and producers, Nile and his partner Bernard Edwards, they made hits with artists such as David Bowie, Diana Ross and Madonna.
Nile Rodgers has been working on the forthcoming Daft Punk record, due for release next month.
