Output Belfast – ‘Northern Ireland’s largest one day music conference' – takes place today 18th February 2016 in The Mac & The Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast followed by an evening of showcase gigs in venues across The Cathedral Quarter.
This year’s keynote address comes from legendary engineer and musician Steve Albini, in what is set to be his only speaking engagement in Europe in 2016.
Paul Hartnoll (ex-Orbital), music supervisor Amelia Hartley, composer Nathan McCree, and music blogger and broadcaster Niall Byrne (AKA Nialler9) are just some of the names taking part in the events.
The line-up for the free gigs are:

- Aether and Echo – CM88, Wake America, REWS and Wood Burning Savages
- McHughs – Susie Blue, Albuquerque, Robocobra Quartet and Blue Whale
- The Black Box (Green Room) – Ryan McMullan, Rachel Boyd, Travis is a Tourist and Tuskany
- The Dirty Onion – Eve Belle, Lilla Vargan, Jess Edlin, Bitch Falcon
- The Duke of York – Paddy Hanna, Katie Laffan, Exmagician and A Bad Cavalier
- The John Hewitt – Callum Stewart, Rosey Carney, Jessica Doherty and Son of The Hound
- The Oh Yeah Centre – Abandcalledboy, Hot Cops, R51 and Silences
- White’s Tavern – Alphabetika, The Late Twos, Ryan Vail and PORTS
The music conference runs 10am to 5pm with the live gigs starting at 8pm.
