Le Carousel - Destroy Us
They Say: "I decided to put this out to remind people the Le Carousel thing is still bubbling away. I have an idea or a concept I want to work on for the next Le Carousel LP and the name “Destroy Us" is a hint to what the album will be called so I've kind of came up with the concept for the album before I’ve made the music as I feel it's important for the music to have a clear direction where it's going. It's not about the type of music it's going to be but more about the story of the meaning behind it."
We Say: "The first thing that springs out is the bassline - which nods to Georgio Moroder and ‘I Feel Love’. But those acid stabs and the overall feel of this gorgeous, six minute track, is more Chemical Brothers than anything else. Chemical Brother album closer, if one was to be specific. Phil Kieran, then. Techno kingpin by night, trippy psycadelica merchant by….later that night."
