'You are cordially invited to the the 3rd Slomatics and War Iron Christmas party! Except the usual loud amps and slow heavy heavy rock delivered by smiling men who are old enough to know better (but still LOVE doing it).
It’s been a really cool year for both bands with well received albums hitting the streets and tours outside Ireland. 'For this Xmas instalment we've also invited over our friends Headless Cross from Glasgow (space/doom/krautrock) and Wild Rocket from Dublin (Psychedelic Hardcore). It's their first time in Belfast, a Christmas get together seemed like the perfect excuse to get them here, so lets make them welcome. Doors open at 8 first band on at 9, the evening will be wrapped up with a bit of a heavy rock disco and hanging out and sinking a few ales. We certainly plan on good times, it would be great to have some new friends join us (old ones also welcome).'
So there you go, a Saturday to remember. And remember - drink responsibly but rock irresponsibly!
