
Snow Patrol announce a massive show at Ward Park, Bangor in 2019.
Snow Patrol first played Ward Park in 2007, before returning in 2010 to a record breaking crowd of 40,000, marking the biggest gig ever hosted in Northern Ireland.
With their most recent album ‘Wildness’ much softer and more intimate, it’s sure to be a very special show. Hot Press described the album as "arguably the most ambitious opus" of Snow Patrol's 25-year career, but how will it translate to a potential audience of such size?. Recently Nathan from the band spoke to ATL about the ‘Wildness’ shows, saying “Snow Patrol always ‘gigged’ while the likes of U2 put on a show. Now we’re ready, we want to put on a show”
There's strong local support on the bill with Roe, Wood Burning Savages, Brand New Friend and Soak also on the bill across 2 stages.
