Folk duo, The 1930's have changed their name to New Ancestors.

In a statement on their facebook page, the band explained that they will "still be playing a lot of the same tunes" and "it's only really the name that has changed!".

To mark the beginning of New Ancestors, the band have released a track, 'If You Let Me' and have said there's more new material on the way.

A video for 'If You Let Me' was filmed by Conor McCormick, directed by James Cairns and stars ex-Colly Strings drummer Andy Bleakley.
