The Bell Diver Spiders - Me & Her
Tuesday 16th May, 2017
They say: "This track was written in a matter of minutes, after a burst of inspiration. Due to this it's as simple a song as you'll get, structured classically and performed by a raw 3 piece set up.
Influence on the track comes from the likes of The Strokes who inspired the chord voicings, Bully who made us love the raw guitar tone we put on the track and then we put our signature blinding energy in the mix.
Lyrically, the song is as simple and classic as it gets- it's just about falling for a girl.”
We say: "Me and Her has a rumble kind of energy which echoes the Libertines and Strokes, with a boot-stomping rhythm thanks to Conor and Jordy, and straight to the point lyrics from Vince.
This debut single is a good taste of things to come, from this three piece Belfast garage outfit."
You can catch The Bell Diver Spiders live at Voodoo, Belfast, on June 27th, along with Saint Sapphire.
