10 Foot Clown - Rosa's Dream (Master of Regret)
They say: The song is actually a blend of 2 songs. The music comes from an old dub tune that we did many years ago which was called `Rosa’s Dream’ which was a sort of eulogy to Rosa Luxembourg - a socialist/working class campaigner and philosopher in early 20th Century Germany. The second verse of lyrics is new. It`s about looking back at your life, realising the mistakes you`ve made, the paths not taken, the what ifs and wherefores - reflecting on your personal past.
We say: It's always a good idea to make your verses and middle eight sound like choruses. And then make your actual chorus extra chorus-y. Am I making sense? Probably not, so just listen and you'll start to understand.
