Jealous of the Birds, aka Naomi Hamilton has released the first single, ‘Marrow’ from her upcoming EP Wisdom Teeth.
Speaking to The Line of Best Fit about the track, Naomi explained, “‘Marrow’ is my attempt to articulate what it’s like to be a human being navigating one’s inner and outer worlds. After I graduated uni a year ago, I became much more resolute about chasing a life in music, art and travelling. To me, this song captures that sense of striving for authenticity in all its colours and forms - whether that’s in love, in one’s career, or in one’s spirituality.”
The EP is the culmination of months of writing and recording for Jealous of the Birds. Wisdom Teeth will be released on 1st February, via Hand In Hive.
