That New Band Smell -

Across The Line

Happy Easter hope it has been filed with chocolate egg-shaped goodness! Tonight I'm going to be bringing you a selection of easy listening jazz classics. Nah you got me - april Fools (hey I didn't get to do any this morning so I had to make the most of this chance!) It's three epically heavy slabs of wax for your earholes tonight.

All The King's Ashes

Fresh faced rockers from Belfast and Larne, three of this band used to be in pop punk outfit ISavouredASaviour but then they caught themselves on, turned it up to 11 and unleashed their angry side to create some great hardcore riffs. Vocalist Gavin has a staggernig range from screaming to melodic breakdowns. They're currently recording their debut EP "The World Stares In Shame" this month and you can check them out on reverbnation

Frustration

Frustration are a heavy hardcore act from Dublin who have been grinding away south of the border since 2008 but are now starting to venture up north bringing their brand of visceral noise with them! So far they've 2 demos under theor belt and recent LP has seen them signed to Purgatory Records. You can hear them on Bandcamp and also supporting Hornets in Belfast on April 20th.

Bullibymon

This new act from Dave Hanna, formerly of Strait Laces, sees him take a new much heavier dimension which we whole heartedly encourage! Having supported the likes of Gacy's Threads, Lantern For A Gale, Hornets and pther local heavyweights these guys are definitely making an impact on the local metal scene and you'd be mad to miss them. Their new ep isn't out yet but you can get track Throttler on their bandcamp now as well as teasers of more to come on their Facebook.
