BBC Online Subtitles Trial

Last week we wrote about the BBC’s Online Subtitles Trial, which will last for three months. Further information is now available from My Web My Way.

Subtitles are now provided for Click, the BBC’s technology programme, and for new content added to Film Network. Later in the week, content should also be available for Eorpa, with subtitled content for Panorama, Video Nation and Capture Wales to follow soon.

As it happens, this weekend I took time off from being a geek and so missed Click. So I’ve just been catching up by watching it online. The subtitles in my view are big, clear, accurate and easy to read. But then, I’m no expert user, so don't take my word for it.

As this is a trial for the subtitling service, feedback is not just sought but positively encouraged. So take a look at it, and let them know what you think.

What a great Xmas present - at long last.

Hope to see the BBC video news and sport subtitled too!
