image descriptionWorst football tattoo ever?

There are some pretty shocking examples of football body art out there but this could be the worst of the lot. The culprit is a Chelsea fan, so the tattoo was always going to be of these two…

But over that beer belly?
image descriptionKi Sung his initiation

A classic way to welcome a new recruit to your club is of course embarrassing them as much as possible. Getting the new boy to do a karaoke number seems to be popular…

Swansea new boy Ki Sung Yueng sung into a spoon for his awkward performance.
image descriptionFletch's eggs

Steven Fletcher has taken his form in front of goal and has transferred it into egg catching. The Sunderland striker was out at dinner last night and ended up trying to catching eggs.

Sounds odd to us, but not as odd as Steven looked in a chef's hat.

We’ve had plenty of odd football merchandise feature on this newsletter – the Barcelona showerhead, the Newcastle onesie, but this could top the lot.

German side, St Pauli have targeted the breakfast market with this nifty little kitchen gadget.
image descriptionFootballers go mad for golf

It’s no secret that footballers love their golf. But apparently they’re just as into watching it. The Ryder Cup started today and it's all footballers are tweeting about. Hopefully they'll drag themselves away from the TV to play tomorrow!

You can follow all the Ryder Cup action on BBC Radio 5 Live.

There’s no 606 this weekend due to The Ryder Cup. But we didn’t want you to all miss out on reacting to the day’s football, so we’ve come up with an alternative 606…

Robbie Savage will take over our Twitter from 6:06pm tomorrow. Join in and follow using #alt606.

Robbie SavageRobbie Savage|13:25 UK time, Friday, 28 September 2012

Due to The Ryder Cup, there's no 606 this week. But with a big weekend of football ahead of us, It would be weird not to debate the issues of the day with you come 6:06pm tomorrow evening.

That's why on Saturday, when I'm usually warming up my vocal chords to take on the next fan that disagrees with me, I'll be taking a very different (and novel for me) approach... tweeting! But with a difference - for one hour only I won't be @Robbiesavage8 I'll be taking over @BBC606.

Whether you're an angry fan coming out of ground, a delighted one on the train home or just want react to a result or a performance, instead of reaching for your phone and dialing, get online and tweet me @bbc606.

At the end of the hour I'll also be rounding up my top shandy men, those of you who have taken one for the team and are driving your mates miles to support your club. Tweet me who in your car has stuck to the lemonades deserves our Shandy Man accolade.

As it's an alternative 606, we want you to use this hashtag - #alt606

Lazio forward, Miroslav Klose had the ball in Napoli’s net after just three minutes in last night’s game, but the goal was scratched off when Klose put his hands up and admitted it wasn’t a fair goal.

A true sign of great sportsmanship.

The 606 Twitter stream has been taken up with footballers talking about the latest computer game in which they can play as themselves. Phil Jones has already dubbed himself the king of the game…

But Rooney doesn’t agree and for some reason called him Glen. Is this some Manchester United nickname we don’t know about?

Can you see the ‘footbonaut’ being rolled out across all professional clubs?

But did he succeed?

Thanks for all your interactions over the weekend, we had some great calls, texts and tweets. We want to hear your thoughts on some of the big talking points during the show. To keep the debate going have a listen to some of our callers below and then have your say in the comment section at the bottom of the page.

Robbie has not been shy in his thoughts on Aston Villa this season. Is their squad good enough to stay up?

If a player for your club feels contact in the box, would you want them to go down to try and win a penalty, or stay on there feet?

Whether you were at Anfield, listened to it on the radio or watched it on TV we want your reaction to the occasion. Were you as emotional as Chris?

Former AFC Wimbledon manager, Terry Brown spoke to Robbie and Mark about his day watching his former club win 0-1 at Wycombe. I’m sure that was a shock for the AFC Wimbledon fans. Who’s the most surprising person you’ve seen supporting your club at a game?

Robbie also used Saturday to deliver 606’s Fighting Talk for our BBC 5 Live-a-side game against Colin Murray and Fighting Talk. Make sure you support the 606 team using #Team606. The 5 Live-a-side game is all part of 5 Live’s Octoberfest in Sheffield. Find more information including our show from The Crucible here.

Remember you can follow 606 on Twitter, follow the latest debate on our Facebook page and sign up to our daily newsletter.

Nobody likes to see items thrown onto the pitch during a game. Especially when those items come close to taking a hand off! This is no coin or lighter we’re dealing with here…

See what happened in this Iranian league game.
image descriptionWhat’s happened to the classic black boots?

When you think of Phil Neville, you think classic, traditional, hard-working English footballer. So when he tweeted a picture of his new boots…

we didn’t expect to see these flashy numbers.
image descriptionYep, he’s still about

The Spurs’ goalkeepers are arguably the best in The Premier League. There’s Lloris, Friedel, Cudicini and many have forgotten about Gomes. He enjoyed a rather strange training game with his fellow Spurs keepers.

But can anybody work out the objective of this game?
image descriptionGuess who’s back!

Arsenal are enjoying a good start to the season and now they’ve been given another positive boost as one of their fan favourite’s was welcomed back to full training today.

His return even got him trending on Twitter.

Footballers take part in all sorts of strange training techniques these days. You’ve got ballet, yoga but in the Brazilian second division, they seem to be teaching kung-fu.

What a dramatic night in the Bernabeu! It was all a bit too much for one of City’s biggest fans as he got lary inside the ground. There are reports he left at 1-1 and reports he was thrown out.

All we know for sure is that the “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” could no longer just “Roll with It”.

But whom was Ash talking about? See here and here.
