TOPS OF THE SHOPS WITH JO WHILEY.

Forever fashing it up... I'm hopping between the catwalk and the wearable, trying to combine the tips from trendsetters, working out what would be best to save for and what we can afford right now with our pocket money!

At No.1....

A SUPER BAG!

Owned and caressed by a mulitiude of stars including R1's Fearne Cotton, the Pixie's (Lott and Geldof!), Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss........etc.

  • EXPENSIVE OPTION: They've even designed a bag called 'Alexa'. A Mulberry bag is a luxury, it's a statement and I'm pretty much sure you could wear a bin liner with one and still look belissima. The classic shape is a 'Bayswater', a golden matallic version will set you back £750, and oak coloured printed leather version£650. Okay, so it may be in a dream world. BUT you may have recently won the lottery or you may be thinking of innovative ways to wear bin liners for the rest of your life this second?

At No. 2...SOPHISTICATED LAPTOP CASES.

This one was directed at the gents initially but, thinking about it works for the ladies too. There is nothing nicer thatn a guy that pays some attention to detail, so getting out a grubby laptop wrapped in a fluffy jumper isn't really the one.

  • EXPENSIVE OPTION: So I'd suggest newly designed 'H' laptop cases designed by superstar stylist Harris Elliot from £215. Very, Very sexy I say!

  • CHEAPER OPTION: Laptops will cost you a mint so it's worth investing a few quid on looking after it makes sense to me? This Matt and Nat, leather manbag / laptop case is being offered at a discount of £82.00 when it usually reatils at £155.00

And finally at No.3... A LBD WITH SHOULDER PADS.

You'll be surprise to know, I don't actually like to preach, as long as you wear it well it'll likely work. BUT.. An essential trend to be embraced this A/W season is the shoulder pad! There are some wicked little black dresses with shoulder pads available at the moment. I love them, I love them a lot. I'm going to wear one to a Halloween wedding! Bring power party dressing back.

  • EXPENSIVE OPTION: An exquistely flattering dress from Sportmax, it's called the 'Lando Mesh Plunge Dress', it's a grown up option (just make sure your wearing a pair of big tummy, thightneing pants underneath). It's got a subtle shoulder pads if you're a bit afraid and costs £252.
