The circular pattern I designed was inspired by the flower marigold, the marigold is used in the Mexican 'Day of the Dead' as an offering placed on the graves of relatives. I focused on bright, vibrant colours to reflect the celebratory approach the Mexicans take towards the afterlife, and the use of colour in Williamson's work.
