Description
The dialogue in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time is clear, direct and realistic. It is a play within a play - split into two parts and plays with time and space. Mark Haddon uses a lot of direct speech in his novel, and Simon Stephens wrote his play using this dialogue as a starting point.
