M7: Number

Indices are used to show numbers that have been multiplied by themselves. They can be used instead of the roots such as the square root.

Number sequences are sets of numbers that follow a pattern or a rule. A sequence which increases or decreases by the same amount each time is called a linear sequence.

A function is a rule that is applied to one set of values to give another set of values. A function can be illustrated on a graph.
