Classroom Ideas
Use as an introduction to the basics of working with co-ordinates. Students could be given a series of simple drawings, such as the outline of various hills, ramps or sloping buildings overlaid on a grid, and asked to work out the line equations that create these images. Provided with a series of co-ordinates and line equations, they could then plot new lines on a grid to create new images.
