*We see the Earth in the centre of the screen, surrounded by stars. Alice and Oisin float in the foreground, wearing astronaut helmets. *
ALICE: Wow the Earth looks tiny from here!
NARRATOR: It’s hard to imagine how big it feels when you’re walking around, going to school and playing with your friends isn’t it?
OISIN: It looks more like a football to me!
NARRATOR: There are billions of people living on Earth! And there are lots of different religions. 10,000 in fact!
*Symbols for various religions encircle the Earth. *
ALICE: I don’t think I can even count that far!
The symbol for Christianity floats to the top of the screen, followed by Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Judaism.
NARRATOR: Christianity is just one of the world’s religions. There’s also Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism and many more. Lots of religions share the same ideas - like compassion, solidarity, and love for other people.
*We zoom into the Earth in a blur, and arrive in an empty space. The kids are no longer wearing helmets. Images of objects appear on screen as the narrator mentions them. *
NARRATOR: Religions also usually have a sacred building to pray in - like a mosque, church or synagogue. A lot of religions also have a holy book, like the Qur’an, Bible or Tanakh.
*A Muslim woman, Christian monk and Jewish rabbi stand beside each other. *
NARRATOR: These are all followers of different religions, dressed according to their faith.
*The characters wave at the kids, and each other, smiling and nodding in a friendly way. *
NARRATOR: While they may all believe in different things, they respect each other’s backgrounds and religion.

One big family
The world is a big place made up of lots of different countries and people.
Just as people all over the world can look different, they can also believe in different things.
There are many different religions in the world.
Even though these religions may believe in different things, everyone still has respect for each other.

Now that we know how important it is for people of all religions to respect each other, why not have a look at how Christianity began with the birth of Jesus?
