Making three-digit numbers (signed)

Description

How to make three-digit numbers, starting with one number and placing another next to it in order to make a new number. For example, 3, 33 and 333.

Classroom Ideas

Students could draw three numbers from a selection contained in a hat. Students could then write down all possible numbers which can be created using the numbers they have picked.
