Numbers: Video playlist

In Talkie Time Rodd finds pairs of objects in his flat. We help him pair the socks in his sock drawer and then pin them onto the washing line to use for counting in twos activities. Rodd sets us a challenge to find out how many socks he will wear in one week.

Students could look for the pairs around Rodd’s flat and create a washing line like Rodd’s for counting pairs in twos. Students could colour or paint their own pair of socks for the line. Students could complete Rodd’s days-of-the-week challenge and use different days of the week on a classroom line. Using a pairs table, students could place items which come in a pair on to the line.
