Oops, guess a fraction of the sea lions were hidden in the water.
Fractions. There were three sea lions in the water, and nine in total.
So three ninths of the sea lions were in the water.
Three over nine, that’s how you write a fraction.
The numerator is the number of objects we are thinking about. Like the three sea lions in the water.
And the denominator is the total number of objects.
There are nine sea lions in all.
Looks to me that one ninth of the sea lions is a massive show off.
Haha…oh dear.
