M8: Geometry and measures

Transformations change the size or position of shapes.

When a shape is enlarged, the image is similar to the original shape. It is the same shape but a different size.

The trigonometric ratios; sine, cosine & tangent are used to calculate angles & lengths in right-angled triangles. Sine & cosine calculate lengths & angles in any triangle.
