Jasper and Daisy are making some amazing art. They are making some drawings, collages and a sculpture.
Daisy and Jasper are looking around an empty gallery.
It’s time for the Amazing Art exhibition! But we have no art. Let’s make some!
Daisy begins scribbling with a pencil on paper.
Hmmm crayons, pastels, felt tips, you choose.
A lovely landscape. Flowing river, bright blue sky. So scenic.
Daisy puts down a paintbrush before proudly holding up a landscape drawing of a river scene.
Jasper is holding a moody drawing of a lighthouse.
This picture is dark and moody. Those colours make the lighthouse look spooky.
Daisy is sticking the leaves to a sheet of paper.
We can use those colourful crunchy leaves to make a collage. Glue them down and build up the layers.
Jasper is painting something abstract, but similar to the collage of leaves.
You can also paint with swishing brush strokes on the paper.
Jasper pops out from behind an easel, holding a brush and palette.
Is that a painting of your teacher? That makes it a portrait.
The teacher is holding an awkward pose like a roman statue.
A sculpture would look marvellous. You could make it from clay, wire or paper.
But they can take a long time to make. Sorry!
