What does Performance-Spoken Language involve?

You have to do at least one of two things:

  • Demonstrate talking and listening in a group discussion.
  • Prepare and present a spoken presentation, during which or after which you answer some questions from the audience.

Your teacher will decide how and when the spoken language assessment will be carried out. It can be done in one of the two ways above, or a mixture of the two.

If you don’t quite manage it all in one discussion or one presentation, your teacher will look for other opportunities for you to demonstrate the skills required.
