Writing practice - Foundation tier
Here are five sentences in English on the theme of Sport. Read them carefully before starting to translate.
Remember that there is no need to translate the sentences word by word but tenses and timeframes do need to be correct. Don’t forget the accents, either!

Translate the following sentences into Spanish.
- Once per week I play basketball with my brother.
- I don't do horse riding because it is not interesting.
- Every Saturday I go sailing to the lake with my friends.
- If it is sunny tomorrow, I will go to the swimming pool.
- Yesterday my team won the tournament.
- Una vez a la semana juego al baloncesto con mi hermano.
- No practico la equitación porque no es interesante.
- Cada sábado voy a navegar al lago con mis amigos.
