An Déardaoin 8 Eanáir
Chuaigh mé ar scoil inniu ach thaistil mé ar an bhus mar bhí sé ag cur go trom. Chuir mé orm cóta fearthainne. Ag am sosa, bhí sé tirim agus shiúil mé go dtí an siopa le mo chara. Buíochas mór le Dia, bhí dea-aimsir ann i ndiaidh na scoile mar bhí traenáil againn amuigh sa pháirc ach bhí an féar fliuch go fóill. Bhí oíche gheal ann ach bhí sé sioctha fuar.
An Aoine 9 Eanáir
Nuair a mhúscail mé ar maidin, bhí sioc ar an talamh. Chuir mé cóta mór orm agus shiúil mé ar scoil le mo dheirfiúr. Ag am sosa, bhí sceitimíní orm mar bhí clocha sneachta ann. Fá am lóin, bhí an sneachta ag titim go trom agus mar gheall air sin, ní raibh cead againn dul amach sa chlós súgartha. I ndiaidh na scoile, fuair mé síob abhaile le mo mhamaí mar bhí mé conáilte leis an fhuacht.
An Satharn 10 Eanáir
D’éirigh mé go luath mar bhí a lán sneachta ar an talamh. Chuaigh mo theaghlach uilig amach agus rinne muid fear sneachta mór os comhair an tí. Bhí sé fuar ach geal agus ní raibh scamall sa spéir. Ní raibh muid ábalta dul áit ar bith mar bhí sneachta ar na bóithre. Thart fá am tae, tháinig an ghrian amach.

Translation
Thursday 8th January
I went to school today but I travelled on the bus because it was raining heavily. I put on a raincoat. At break time, it was dry and I walked to the shop with my friend. Thank God, it was good weather after school because we had training out in the field but the grass was still wet. It was a bright night but it was freezing cold.
Friday 9th January
When I woke this morning, there was frost on the ground. I put on a big coat and I walked to school with my sister. At break time, I was excited because there were hailstones. By lunchtime, the snow was falling heavily and because of that we were not allowed to go out into the playground. After school, I got a lift home with my mum because I was freezing with the cold.
Saturday 10th January
I got up early because there was a lot of snow on the ground. My whole family went out and we made a big snowman in front of the house. It was cold but bright and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. We weren’t able to go anywhere because there was snow on the roads. Around teatime, the sun came out.
