What would you say for these role plays?
Question
You are talking to your Spanish friend about the environment. Your teacher will play the part of your Spanish friend and will start the conversation.
- Say two things you recycle at home. Mention two details.
- Ask what your friend does to help the environment.
- Give your opinion about the public transport in the area where you live.
- Say what way you normally travel to school.
- Explain why you travel that way.

- En casa reciclo botellas de cristal y papeles.
- Me parece estupendo.
- ¿Qué haces tú para ayudar al medio ambiente?
- Yo limpio las playas. En tu opinión, ¿es bueno el transporte público en tu ciudad?
- Pienso que sí, pero es bastante caro.
- ¿Cómo vas normalmente al colegio?
- Normalmente voy en autobús.
- ¿Por qué?
- Porque es muy puntual.
Translation:
- What do you recycle at home?
- At home I recycle glass bottles and paper.
- That is great.
- What do you do to help the environment?
- I clean the beaches. In your opinion, is public transport good in your city?
- I think it is, but it is quite expensive.
- What way do you normally travel to school?
- I usually travel by bus.

- Because it is punctual.
