What to write about

A young girl lying on her bed writing in a diary

Concentrate on an event or feeling which has stuck in your mind. It doesn't have to be unusual or earth-shattering.

It could be an object that has significance for you, such as:

  • a favourite toy from childhood
  • an old piece of clothing

Alternatively it might be a recollection of a time you felt a powerful emotion:

  • fear
  • pride
