It is always useful to read the course reports from the SQA website. These documents are designed to:

• Acknowledge where candidates gained the most marks from the exam.
• Address areas where candidates did not gain the most marks from the exam.

For example, from the 2018 paper candidates struggled with:

• Selecting information from a line graph.
• Selecting information from a line graph with two vertical axes.
• Identifying features of an investigation that would affect the accuracy of results.
• Identifying features of a trial that would affect the reliability of results.
