Navigation plans

You must provide an overview of how the user can navigate your website. Navigation diagrams outline how different sections of your site are linked.

Storyboards

Storyboards provide clear plans or mock-ups for each page that you intend to create in your website.

You should include enough detail to allow a third party to create the page from scratch. You should include all design components and provide annotations to explain layout, colours, fonts, images and animations.

You should also create storyboards for any video that you include in your website. The storyboards should provide a visual plan, depicting what you intend to film. It can also contain notes on action, audio, dialogue, camera angles and shots. It involves drawing a panel of rough sketches outlining what is going to happen.
