Question
Write a response to an email from a new friend you met from the Gaeltacht. Refer to and expand on each of the following points:
- personal details
- your family
- your relationship with those in your family
- other people's opinions of you
- physical / personality traits
This is only a sample answer. You could use a variety of phrases and descriptions.

My name is Mollie but my mummy calls me 'Molls', I don’t mind this but I think it is silly at times. I am fifteen years old but my birthday will be next month.
There are four in my family altogether but my parents are separated. I live with my mum but I see my daddy every weekend. I have one brother, he is three years older than me. He lives in Belfast because he is at university.
I get on very well with everyone in my family, with my mum especially because I can say anything to her. I also get on well with my brother even though he is older than me.
My mum says that I am very mature for my age and I agree with her because I think I am very independent. I can be loud at times because I am fond of talking. My friend Maria thinks that I am funny and smart. Some of my teachers say that I am very smart also.
I personally think that I am a friendly person and I do my best to help people all the time. I am quite small for my age and my mum says I am like her because she is very small also.
