Nothing screams (or roars) summer time more than a blockbuster movie, and if you're a fan of dinosaurs there is no bigger film this summer than the brontosaurus-sized Jurassic World Rebirth! The seventh film in the Jurassic series, Rebirth features Wicked's Jonathan Bailey and Scarlett Johansson of Black Widow fame, and is in cinemas now.

Jurassic World Rebirth kickstarts a new era for the Jurassic franchise, so here are a few roarsome tips inspired by the movie to help kickstart your summer holidays, taking you into September, and a new era of school, with more vigour than a velociraptor!

Roar-lax ahead of your exam results

Your exams may be over, but waiting on results can be a stressful time. It can be really difficult to know what to do with yourself while the countdown to results day is on. We caught up with some students who told us what they did whilst waiting to receive their results. If you need inspo for some rex-cellent activities to help keep you roar-laxed this summer, then our A-Z summer bucket list is the place to go.

If you're worried about GCSE or Nationals results day, then Bitesize Study Support has loads of guides to help chill you out and provide all the info you need to get through the big day. You can find all our results day tips at the top of our exams page.

Have a tricera-top notch transition

If you're in Year 6, you may have transition days coming up over the next few weeks. Transition is a chance for you to visit your new secondary school and experience a day in the life of a high school student ahead of you starting for real in September.

Dr Amir recently gave us some tricera-top notch tips to help make the move into high school less ptero-fying. He answered some common questions new students have when making the move to secondary school. So if you're concerned about getting lost, fearful about fitting in, or worried that the new teachers will be scary, then check out Amir's tips for starting secondary school for all the answers.

Get into a roarsome routine

Rise, roar, repeat. During the school term you probably wake up at the same time every day during the week, but in the school holidays it can be really tempting to lie in every day! So having a healthy wakeup routine can be a game-changer. One way to ensure you get out of your bed feeling more brilliant than a brachiosaurus is by putting your phone on the other side of the room so you have to get up to switch it off. You'll find that once you're out of bed, you're up for the day! You can find some more ideas to help up your routine game here.

If you need support

You should always tell someone about the things you’re worried about. You can tell a friend, parent, guardian, teacher, or another trusted adult. If you're struggling with your mental health, going to your GP can be a good place to start to find help. Your GP can let you know what support is available to you, suggest different types of treatment and offer regular check-ups to see how you’re doing.

If you’re in need of in-the-moment support you can contact Childline, where you can speak to a counsellor. Their lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There are more links to helpful organisations on the BBC Bitesize Action Line page for young people.
