It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Or is it?
Sometimes, there are parts of the festive season that can feel a little overwhelming. With so much to do and people to see, it’s no surprise that annoyance can begin to creep in. For some, it’s a particular Christmas song that they’ve heard just that one too many times, while for others it’s the worry about whether their travel arrangements will go to plan.
BBC Bitesize asked some young people what it is that stresses them out about Christmas. Watch now and decide who you agree with!
BBC Bitesize spoke to young people about what gets them stressed at Christmas time
Alright, so what is the one thing that really stresses you out about Christmas?
Presents.
And why is that?
Because I'm a broke college student.
'All I want for Christmas' is just very over done.
Yeah. Too much.
I've danced and I've danced and I'm tired. It's been years now. We need to crown a new Christmas Queen.
One of the things that stresses me about out Christmas is when I'm getting one of my family members a present - a bit of clothing, a glove for example, the size of it, though. Making sure I get the right size to fit the hand. That's a really big concern for me.
Thinking of presents for people, cos you want to make sure it's like a good thing you'd want to like them to receive it. You've got to think about it a lot.
People wearing Christmas clothes before December.
They don't play much good stuff on the telly and that really annoys me because I want to watch a bunch of Christmas movies and shows and they don't play anything.
Family: stress me out.
My little brother. All the time he does not stop at Christmas.
I've got lots of little cousins and they're always running about and it's like… feel I can't walk downstairs can you because they're running about.
Yeah you're tripping over them.
It's a bit stressful. They're right loud an' all.
Seeing all my family, like trying to fit it all in cos my Mum and Dad are separate so seeing everyone, that stresses me out a little bit. Feel like you're being tugged.
The trains are a nightmare on Christmas Eve to get home.
Putting up decorations because it's a right farce.
This guy over here, he's massive! Could fall on me.
These past three minutes I've been thinking of an answer and I just can't come up with one. I'm actually being dead serious. >I'm trying to think… Why would you get stressed out over Christmas? It's the time to have fun and celebrate.
I mean, it's a valid point. Is it your favourite time of year?
Well, erm, no.
