Race For Life events are women-only - although thousands of men and children turned up in the park to support their wives, mums, friends and workmates.

Although the events are non-competitive, someone has to come over the finish line first - the 'winner' of the Cannon Hill Park race was Jane Groves. She ran the five kilometres in around 18 minutes. She is running in several Race For Life events around Britain.
