As well as the permanent interactive exhibitions there are occasionally special exhibitions and workshops for you to join in with.  BBC Public Space Visit the BBC ShopThe BBC Shop is situated in the Public Space, selling DVD's, CD's, books and gift items based on BBC programming and there is also a Costa Coffee café selling refreshments. Take your time, have a drink and look out for your favourite celebrity passing by on their way to work! Visiting the BBC BBC early yearsFrom the Public Space you can see radio sets and speakers from the 1920’s and camera equipment and microphones from the 1950’s. Compare them to yours at home and see the difference! There is always literature to pick up and read about the latest BBC campaign or programme which needs your ideas and involvement. How to get there...The Public Space is situated in BBC Birmingham on level 7 of The Mailbox. It is just minutes from New Street station.
