A third Bill & Ted movie is on the way, so let's test how well these second sequels stand out in your mind
Movie threequels can often be a hit and miss affair.
For every Toy Story 3 (aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes: a rave-laden 99%, external), and Lord Of The Rings: The Return of The King (aggregate score: 94%, external), there's an X-Men: The Last Stand (aggregate score: a more divided 58%, external) and Scream 3 (aggregate score: 36%, external).
This week, it was confirmed that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are officially teaming up, external for a third Bill & Ted movie - almost 30 years since the original, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, was released (the follow-up, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey came two years later).
