If you are BBC staff you will automatically have a Concur account created for you, you can log in to Concur using your normal BBC Login information. If you have not yet used BBC Login you will need to register here.
Expense claims can be created and submitted using both the desktop site and the Concur app. Concur is cloud based, anything created on the companion app will be visible on the website and vice versa.
Concur Mobile App
The Concur mobile app is available on iOS and Android for more information on how to set this up, please see the BBC Gateway pages for instructions.
Expenses Guidance
- Where possible you should consolidate your expenses into one claim, and this should be done within 3 months of incurring the expenses
- Do not group the expenses into one line, each item needs to be entered separately.
- Expenses should be claimed as per the rules set out in the Expenses Policy, anything that is out of policy will need Finance Director approval.
- All claims should have a valid receipt or proof of purchase attached for every item; else this will require second line approval.
- The date on the receipt should match the date in your claim
- Use the correct category when making a claim; use the BBC Gateway to check if an item is claimable, and which category to use.
- If you do not have a VAT receipt, and only proof of purchase, use ‘Receipt’.
- If you have neither, then use ‘No Receipt’.

Staff Leavers
If you are leaving the BBC, you should ensure all claims have been completed and approved by your approver before you leave.
If you have left the BBC, and you have a claim outstanding, or unpaid, you should contact your line manager as soon as possible, for this to be processed.
