Safeguarding & Welfare

Your safety and wellbeing matter. Here is the support available at Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
Children and Families
Our BBC safeguarding, welfare and security teams work together to keep children safe and reunite families quickly if you become separated.
To help us support you:
• Collect a child contact wristband at the entrance or from welfare staff.
• Write a parent or carer phone number on it.
• Take a photo of your child and group on arrival.
If your child becomes lost, go straight to the Welfare Tent or speak to any steward or security officer.
