The ResidentsBack to the Chart
Kenny LesterKenny Lester
Played by Brian Croucher

DOB: 11th October 1958
FAMILY: Wife - Sandra
Son - Darren

LIVES: An ample and luxurious home reflecting his wealth
WORK: Manager of Silverhill Rangers
CHARACTER: Kenny is a man's man who understands street-values. He's unrelenting in getting what he wants, as evident when he tried to pay-off Kamal. He's manipulative as well, using the carrot of a possible coaching job to try and influence Jaggy's testimony.
STAR SIGN Libra:

"All I ever wanted was for Darren to succeed. Some people might have seen me as a pushy parent but it was for Darren's own good and he wouldn't have got as far in the game if he hadn't had me behind him.

"My Darren's a good boy really. He's had his problems and I know he blew it but he wouldn't have meant to hurt that Kamal. It's the booze and the drugs, he didn't know what he was doing. I'd have done anything to help him and I thought I'd got it sewn up when Kamal took the money but couldn't believe it when he turned up again! If Jaggy had done the decent thing and stood by Darren at the time, this would never have happened. He wasn't like the rest of them in there, he's not a criminal.

"Anyway Darren's out now and he's doing really well for himself. he had a few teething problems on the Rangers pitch at first but he scored a hat-trick recently and that's what he's all about. I'm so proud of my son."
