Sabrina won the grand final of BBC Asian Network Unsung contest at Mela 2003. Adil Ray hosted a live showcase, with all four finalists performing live on stage and judged by our illustrious panel, which included Hunterz. Sabrina wins the overall prize which includes the chance to professionally record their very first track.

In the weeks leading up to the Mela, the BBC Asian Network had been asking its listeners to reveal their hidden singing talents in BBC Asian Network Unsung. After sifting through bags of entries, four finalists were chosen to perform live on stage at Wembley for Mela 2003. Each finalist was showcased on the Adil Ray show in the week running up to the Mela, where their singing talents were exposed to the world and awarded listener's votes via the website and SMS messaging.

Genna was announced as the winner of the listener's award.
