Listen to Jogi

From Wolverhampton, The Sahotas were a very successful and award winning group in the 90s. It was when they decided to take a break that Mukhtar's solo career took off in 2002, with the release of his debut album Time Out. Featuring various artists from India, and a diverse production it proved highly successful and Mukhtar was urged to record his next album, 4 The Muzik.

4The Muzik was released through a new record label, Realtone Records in August 2004. The album features some big names in the Asian music industry and is influenced by Desi (traditional), reggae, dance, rap and rock music. This fusion of sound has lent Mukhtar his own distinctive sound.
