India's much anticipated tour to Pakistan, their first across the border for 14 years. But did you also know...

1. The last Test match between India and Pakistan took place in 1989-1990 this was also where Sachin Tendulkar made his Test debut.

2. The two countries last met back in March 2003 at the World Cup in South Africa- a match won by India.

3. India were due to play a Test series with Pakistan in 2001, but the Indian Government refused to allow their team to tour Pakistan because of heightened tensions in Kashmir.

10. Shoaib Akhtar burst onto the big stage in the 1999 World Cup with a long, hurtling run-up and blistering speed. His star status was sealed by a great flop of hair, a talent for show-boating and a vivid nickname - the Rawalpindi Express.
