How can I get involved in the Mini London Marathon?

On Tuesday 24th February, fitness influencer Joe Wicks joined Morning Live to discuss the Mini London Marathon and the Mini London Marathon for Schools.

Apply for the Mini London Marathon
For the TCS Mini London Marathon, participants can run, walk, jog or wheel one mile or 2.6K along the final stretch of the route.
The event also has a Championships division, which is a competitive race for those in secondary school (years 7 to 12).
It will take place on Saturday 25th April 2026. Find more information about how to apply here, external.
Please note that the Mini London Marathon only accepts applications from schools, individual applicants are not accepted.
Apply for the Mini London Marathon in Schools
The Mini London Marathon in schools invites children to complete a two-mile distance within their school setting. This can take place any time between now and Friday 1st May 2026.
Schools that apply will receive a free pack with certificates, running bibs, finish-line tape and bunting to decorate the route.
