The Things We Forgot to Remember - Apollo 8

Though some might think the Moon landings began and ended with Neil Armstrong's "one small step", this documentary shows that, for many years, the USSR looked more likely to get there first. presented by Michael Portillo (pictured here), the programme contains contributions from Patrick Moore, Soviet cosmonauts and astronauts from the Apollo program.

Other topics examined in this series include the Spanish Armada, the French Revolution, Jack the Ripper, the Suffragettes and the 1945 Labour government.
